It is not fair if I just talk about the bad things when studying in Korea.
When I first came here, I had had never been in a foreign country before, so it was a super strange place to me, the language sounded totally different. Firstly I arrived the airport with about 40kg luggage (I almost brought all my stuff with me, maybe I thought that I went to the Mars haha). The worst thing is I could not take my suitcase from conveyor belt, the suitcase is 32kg and I weighted 40kg at that time. Big tragedy ever. And a Korean man helped me to get it, even I didn't ask anyone yet. In the airport you can leave my luggage anywhere without worrying that someone can take it. And getting to the bus, the driver always help you with your luggage with a smile and say hello to you. It warmed my heart in the coldness of that early spring (I come from a tropical country, and the temperature in Ho Chi Minh, the city I lived before that, is about 30-40 Celsius degree, almost all the time).
Fortunately my lab-mate, the one who took care of me for the first time I came here, had just come back from US, his english is good and he is open-mind. He took me to the supermarket for everything I need, he rented the house for me, and he helped me in everything I need in the lab. I am so thankful about that. Of course this is just my story, then if you come here and you don't meet a good guy to help you, don't blame me, blame your fortune :). There are good guys and bad guys, everywhere ;).
When you lost your way, you can easily ask anyone you see, everyone is willing to help you. And the old women (ajuma) and old men (ajusi) are super hospitable, they would love to talk with you, even though both they and you cannot understand each other :)) (it is annoying sometime, but in general, I love it). I had often bought bread at a Paris Baguette baker in Anam area when I lived there, and the ajusi, who is manager of that baker, gave me a cake even more expensive than the ones I bought once.
Seoul is a safe city. I see drunk boys sleep in the street many times. I lost my phone somewhere several times and yet it is with me now. You can hang out overnight with your friends in many areas (Itaewon, Hongdae, Kangnam, Anam,...). You can walk in the midnight safely, just don't walk in the road-bed, the cars is drove super fast, especially in the midnight.
Korea is a cute country, everything is cute and colorful. And Korean has a good fashion gout, except one thing that they should be more creative in their outfit in daily life, they usually wear the same clothes when they are trendy, currently.

I don't like Korean food a lot.
Anything else? No more idea ^_^.
